The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Carolina Hurricanes in double overtime of Game 3 of the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Final 5-4, taking a 2-1 lead in the series. Mitchell Marner scored a hat trick to help close the Hurricanes' lead in the second period, while a wild shot from Shea Theodore in the second overtime was the game winner for the Golden Knights.
