In a fun Q&A posted on his social media platforms, Geordin Hill-Lewis was asked to rank five Springboks.

Cheslin Kolbe: “Incredible talent, so many tries scored”
Bryan Habana: “The Cheslin Kolbe before Cheslin Kolbe“.
Geordin was then forced to choose between Francois Pienaar and Siya Kolisi as the Springbok captain.
He responded: “Like many millions of South Africans, I grew up with Francois as my absolute hero. He remains a hero. Francois has captained us to one World Cup victory, Siya has captained us to two”
Hesitating, he added: “Siya at number one, and Francois at number 2”.

Like Geordin Hill-Lewis, Francois Pienaar himself is a fan of Siya Kolisi.
Speaking at the recent World Rugby Awards, he said of the back-to-back world champion: “Siya is such an incredible human being, and he has taken these opportunities to become probably the best South African captain in the history of South African rugby”.
He added: “Incredible how he plays, how he talks and how much he cares for rugby and for the people, and for South Africa.”
